Nice place to live

So far we've been here about 3 months and I like the surrounding area and the complex is very nice. It has new management who seem to be a bit disheveled at times but they may have come in to a mess so that can be forgiven. My one issue is the site wide alarm system that goes off at random times, so far it has gone off twice since we've been here for hours at a time and the fire department comes to turn it off. There has been no explanation by management or any letter regarding the inconvenience to people who either have children or work very early in the morning. I would understand if this was outlined as a safety feature in the contract but this was a complete surprise to not only myself but others that have lived in the complex much longer.

When we originally signed a contract we were told that it would be a 6 month lease. Later, when we went to leave, after a double homicide across the street, they said that it was a 12 month lease. Dishonest. A few months after the back window of our car was shattered by other tenants. management did absolutely nothing. we had to fix it with our own money. three months after that our front windshield was smashed, again, with nothing done my management. If you don't value your possessions, and don't mind apathetic management. You can risk living here. You won't feel safe, and management won't care. look somewhere else if you want a safe place for you and your family.
